Custom Programs

We have developed online as well as traditional programs (e.g., self-study print, workshops, job-aids, coaching programs) revolving around specific roles (e.g., study monitor, project manager, statistician, and study site staff) or topics (e.g., completing an SAE report, GCP for investigators, call center procedures, and basic finance). In general, the programs are designed to present knowledge in small segments and then to have participants practice applying that knowledge. All of our online and traditional programs are designed to be interactive and whenever possible to use discovery learning techniques. Most programs are designed to be training tools as well as reference tools for use after the initial training.

 

Some examples of our custom programs:

  • Role-or Topic Specific Programs are designed to present knowledge in small segments and then to have participants practice applying that knowledge. All of our online and traditional programs are designed to be interactive and whenever possible to use discovery learning techniques. Most programs are designed to be training tools as well as reference tools for use after the initial training. We have developed online as well as traditional programs (e.g., self-study print, workshops, job-aids, coaching programs) revolving around specific roles (e.g., study monitor, project manager, statistician, and study site staff) or topics (e.g., completing an SAE report, GCP for investigators, call center procedures, and basic finance).
  • SOP Training Modules have been proven to be highly effective both for new hires and experienced employees. We typically include an interactive process map that describes the process in detailed steps when the learner clicks each step. An SOP activity allows the learner to link directly to the SOP from the tool to read the SOP and then answer questions to assess their understanding of the SOP.  An interactive case study leads the learner through the process described in the SOP using a realistic scenario with audio highlights. Throughout the case study, the learner is asked to respond to a number of questions and situations that he/she may face in his/her role.
  • Reference Manuals are developed for use by many people within the organization and generally address many large processes and/or topic areas, such as GCP and safety. Both online and paper-based manuals are designed using small segments of information so that that the information can be found quickly by the learners. Both types of manuals contain glossaries, acronym lists, comprehensive lists and/or links to references and documents, and indexes as appropriate.
